The company declared a cash dividend of $0.135 per share of common stock payable on March 2, 2012 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on February 27, 2012. The dividend represents an 8 percent increase from prior quarter's dividend of $0.125 per share of common stock.
Trinity Industries, Inc. (TRN) shares surged 7.63 percent to $36.10 in post market trading session. Its fourth quarter net income rose to $56.1 million or $0.70 per share from $17.3 million or $0.22 per share in the same quarter a year-ago.
The company expects first quarter earnings to be in a range of $0.43 to $0.48 per share and full year earnings to be in a range of $2.35 to $2.55 per share, while analysts’ expect the company to report earnings per share of $0.46 for the first quarter and $2.38 for the full year.

Agilent Technologies, Inc. (A) shares declined 4.24 percent to $41.79 in post market trading session as its second quarter earnings guidance fell short of expectation. The company expects second quarter adjusted net income is to be in arrange of $0.71 to $0.73 per share on revenues of $1.70 to $1.72 billion compared to analysts’ estimation of $0.79 per share on revenues of $1.75 billion. Its first quarter net profit rose to $230 million or $0.65 per share from $193 million or $0.54 per share in the same period last year.
Zale Corp. (ZLC) shares declined 3.53 percent to $3.01 in post market trading session.
Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. (CLF) shares declined 3.49 percent to$66.28 in post market trading session. Its fourth quarter net profit declined to $185.4 million or $1.30 per share from $384.1 million or $2.82 per share in the same quarter a year-ago.
