CoreLogic, Inc. (NYSE:CLGX) shares climbed 10.17 percent to $15.16 in post market trading session after issuing fiscal 2012 earnings guidance above analysts’ estimation.
For fiscal 2012, the company expects adjusted earnings to be in a range of $0.95 to $1.05 per share on revenue of $1.425 to $1.475 billion, while analysts expects the company to report $0.87 per share on revenues of $1.44 billion.
Marathon Petroleum Corp. (NYSE:MPC) shares surged 4.63 percent to $37.51 in post market trading session after investor Jana Partners LLC disclosed a 5.5 percent stake in MPC.
Cloud Peak Energy Inc. (NYSE:CLD) shares gained 3.35 percent to $19.76 in post market trading session. The company will replace Tekelec in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Thursday, January 26.
