Star couple David and Victoria Beckham have announced the birth of their first daughter on Sunday morning.

Confirming the news on David's official Facebook page, the couple also revealed that they have named their daughter Harper Seven Beckham; seven being a lucky number to the couple.

Happy and healthy she arrived at 7.55 am this morning at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are excited to welcome their new baby sister to the family, reveals Beckham's official Facebook post.

The couple is already the proud parents of three sons; 12 year old Brooklyn, 8 year old Romeo and six-year old Cruz.

Earlier, David Beckham has posted a sneaky picture of pregnant Victoria on his Facebook page. The black and white portrait image of Victoria's bare bump shows the pregnant star's current stage in all its glory.

Took this pic of Victoria while she wasn't looking. She looks amazing, so close now to the baby being born! David posted along with the picture.

Congratulating the couple for their new arrival, friends and celebrity acquaintances posted messages on their Twitter accounts.
