Top Pre-Market NASDAQ Gainers (KUTV, FNSR, SGMO, WTSLA, OXPS)
The top pre-market NASDAQ stock market gainers are: Ku6 Media, Finisar, Sangamo Biosciences,Wet Seal, optionsXpress Holdings, Rediff.com India, JA Solar Holdings, Magic Software Enterprises, SodaStream International, and Aruba Networks.
Ku6 Media Co., Ltd. (KUTV) improved 10.83 percent to $6.65 in the pre-market session.
Finisar Corp. (FNSR) jumped 5.97 percent to $20.95 in the pre-market trading. The company's second quarter adjusted profit was $38.3 million or 44 cents a share, up from $7.5 million or 11 cents a share last year. Revenue rose to $241.0 million from $145.7 million. Analysts had expected profit of 38 cents a share on revenue of $229.67 million.
Finisar expects third quarter adjusted earnings of 45 cents to 47 cents a share and revenue of $247 million to $262 million. Analysts expect profit of 41 cents a share on revenue of $240.46 million.
Sangamo Biosciences Inc. (SGMO) surged 5.47 percent to $5.21 in the pre-market trading.
Wet Seal Inc. (WTSLA) climbed 4.62 percent to $3.40 in the pre-market session. The company said its November comparable-store sales rose 7 percent. Sales for November rose 14.4 percent to $50.7 million. The store base was larger from 504 stores last year to 536 stores this year, which has led to November revenue growth.
optionsXpress Holdings, Inc. (OXPS) soared 4.00 percent to $18.19 in the pre-market trading.
Rediff.com India Ltd. (REDF) grew 3.61 percent to $4.02 in the pre-market trading.
JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (JASO) gained 3.16 percent to $7.18 in the pre-market session. The company said it entered into a long-term supplemental wafer and polysilicon supply agreement with GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Ltd.
GCL-Poly will supply JA Solar with about 10GW of high quality polycrystalline wafers and polysilicon products for a 5-year period, from January 2011 to December 2015, at pre-determined shipment volume.
Magic Software Enterprises Ltd. (MGIC) rose 2.83 percent to $6.18 in the pre-market session. The company said its unit HERMES Logistics Technologies has signed a purchase agreement with Celebi to implement its cargo management system.
The HERMES system, powered by Magic Software's application platform, will enable Celebi to leverage the advantages of mobile handheld terminals to track and manage cargo in real-time within its cargo hubs. HERMES will also allow Celebi to employ proactive service level management of all shipments with its built-in warnings and automatic reminders to operational staff.
SodaStream International Ltd. (SODA) increased 2.70 percent to $32.70 in the pre-market session.
Aruba Networks, Inc. (ARUN) moved up 2.53 percent to $23.49 in the pre-market trading.
