During her appearance on the cable morning news show, she recounted a trip she took with her father and several other members of their family and their administration. The group met with religious leaders of Islam, Judaism and Christianity in Saudi Arabia, Israel and the Vatican during a weeklong period.
Trump, who converted to Judaism before marrying her husband Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew, in 2009, spoke about her experience in Israel, describing it as, “truly an unbelievable moment.”
“I feel blessed and privileged to have been there. It was deeply personal for me as you know to be standing at the Western Wall in a moment of privacy because it was really just us, she said.”
Trump described the trip as being “wildly successful.”
“To have covered the three largest world religions over the course of four days, it was deeply meaningful,” Trump said. “It was beyond special. For each of these moments, it’s hard to find the words to adequately describe them.”
In her statement, Trump neglected to mention several major religions. The size of the world religions are listed below (based on 2010 projections):
- Christianity: 2,168,330,000
- Islam: 1,599,700,000
- Unaffiliated: 1,131,150,000
- Hinduism: 1,032,210,000
- Buddhism: 487,760,000

Christianity and Islam are actually the two largest world religions, amounting nearly 4 billion followers combined. However, with about 14 million followers, Judaism, Trump's religion, trails behind Hinduism (over 1 billion followers) and Buddhism (about 500 million followers).
