AT&T counters Verizon iPhone with unlimited calling

AT&T, which is losing its hold on the iPhone to Verizon, has introduced a new feature to its customers that offers unlimited calling to any mobile number in the United States. AT&T's new offer is an attempt to counter an impending switch of iPhone customers to Verizon, which will be debuting iPhone 4 starting today.

Boston mulls use of mobile app to report potholes on city roads

Boston could soon deploy a new mobile app to make its roads smoother and safer for traffic. The app, called Street Bump, will spot potholes on the road and transmit their location to the Department of Public Works through an accelerometer and the Global Positioning System receiver embedded in it.
