Tori Spelling Reportedly Forced Dean McDermott To Watch Children Alone During Her Hospitalization
Tori Spelling’s new Lifetime reality show gives viewers a glimpse into her tumultuous relationship with philandering husband Dean McDermott. The two are trying to get past his affair with Emily Goodhand, and the “True Tori” cameras have been there to capture the drama.
On Tuesday night’s episode, viewers saw what happened when Spelling was rushed to the hospital where she stayed for six days. Her cheating partner complained about how hard it was to take care of four children on his own after Spelling gave the family nannies time off while she was hospitalized. He praised the former “90210” star for caring for their brood while he went to rehab last year to treat addiction.
“Dean was forced to take care of the kids on his own, at Tori’s direction,” a source told Radar Online.
The one thing “True Tori” didn’t show was Spelling had the help of two nannies while McDermott was in rehab. So while the actress had an extra four hands to take care of her little ones, the celebrity chef was left to care for them alone -- and not in the same way his wife did.
“They employ two nannies, one part-time, who takes Liam and Stella to school, picks them up, and helps with homework,” the source told the news site.
“The other nanny is full time and helps Tori at home with the younger children, Hattie and Finn. It was so typical of Tori to do, and extremely passive aggressive. She also told the crew filming to not help Dean at all with the kids, as they have done when Tori is home. As soon as Tori came home, the nannies reappeared.
The source said it was all about “Tori being the victim,” and not accepting that part of their crumbling marriage could be her fault. “The two of them are extremely messed up, and have tons of insecurities, the insider said. “The fact they have four innocent kids that they are exposing to all of this chaos with the cameras is just selfish and disgusting.”
As far as her hospital stint, the insider told Radar Online Spelling forced her husband to take care of their children instead of accompanying her. Apparently, the producer of the show had to call McDermott to give him updates on her condition; a fact the insider said “speak volumes” about their relationship.
