Tori Spelling's Instagram, Twitter Name Changed And It's Not What You Think
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott seemingly vowed to fix their fractured marriage after the celebrity chef cheated on the former “90210” star, but some assumed there might be problems with their relationship once again after Spelling changed her name on Twitter and Instagram.
But apparently it had nothing to do with the status of her relationship. Spelling decided to change it for her new show. "She didn't change it because of any Dean drama," an insider explained to Us Weekly.
Instead of her handle being @ToriandDean, she changed it back to her name, the news site said. "Tori wanted to change it before her show ‘Mystery Girls’ premiered," a source added to the news site. "She wanted to change it for a while."
"She didn't want to do the new show press and have the Twitter be @jenniegarth and @torianddean," the source added. "The @torianddean was one Oxygen made when she did the show." Her new series, which premiered on Wednesday, stars former “90210” costar Jennie Garth.
In the middle of promoting her new show, Spelling said things were “getting better” with her husband, according to Us Weekly.
"Life is always a work in progress and our relationship is one as well," Spelling said on Good Morning America. "But we're moving in the right direction."
