The CN Tower is a communications and observation tower located in Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It has a height 553.33 meters (1,815.4 ft) and it was built in 1976. At the time it was the world's tallest free-standing structure and world's third tallest tower. It kept both records for 34 years until the completion of the Burj Khalifa and Canton Tower.

On August 1, 2011, the CN Tower opened the "EdgeWalk." There, thrill-seekers are strapped in to a harness that is attached to a guard rail. The catwalk on and around the roof of the main pod of the tower is at a height of 356 meters (1,168.0 ft), which is directly above the 360 Restaurant.
