Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez were spotted near each other at a music festival despite the restraining order against him, a report has revealed.

DaBaby had Lanez as a surprise guest when he performed at the Rolling Loud music festival Sunday night. Lanez was also seen backstage at the same time as Megan despite the "WAP" hitmaker's restraining order against him, multiple sources told Page Six.

However, the "Say It" crooner's lawyer, Shawn Holley, told the outlet Wednesday that her client, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, did not violate the terms of the order despite the sighting.

"Though they both performed at the same music festival, Mr. Peterson went out of his way to ensure that he would not cross paths with Ms. Peete or otherwise violate the terms of the protective order," Holley explained.

The court granted Megan's request for a restraining order against Lanez in October 2020 three months after he allegedly shot her. The protective order prevents the "Broke In A Minute" rapper from commenting on the shooting and getting near Megan. He has to stay at least 100 yards away from the Grammy winner.

The Miami Police Department and Los Angeles District Attorney's Office were notified of the possible violation of Megan's protective order, as per Page Six. The outlet also noted that Lanez's surprise appearance at DaBaby's performance came after he and Megan had a heated exchange on Twitter after the "BOP" rapper retweeted a joke supporting Lanez.

Megan unfollowed DaBaby on Instagram the same week and said their relationship wasn't as tight anymore. The netizens speculated that DaBaby brought Larez on the festival to spite Megan.

"Meg has a protective order against Tory Lanez that requires Tory Lanez to stay 100 yards away from Megan. Tory Lanez was NOT booked at Rolling Loud as a paid performer. He wasn't 'working.' Which is why he didn't have his own set. He was brought on stage by DaBaby to spite Meg," one netizen claimed.

"I was there. It was to spite Meg he brought Tory out while playing a Meg thee stallion song when Tory left the stage he played another Meg thee stallion song it was to be petty," another added.

Meanwhile, some also supported Lanez and DaBaby. For them, Megan should have left after her set when it was DaBaby's time to perform. Another suggested that DaBaby wanted to show that he wasn't choosing sides between Megan and Lanez.

"He can Bring on Whoever he want.... Meg set was over so that’s her fault for still being backstage," one commented.

"Tory and da baby had a song recently and he bought out tory lanez to perform it and quickly [after] that played a meg song to show hes not chossing sides plus the restraining order dont matter cause it was a event [with] a bunch of other artists meg just happened to be there," another opined.
