‘Total Divas’ Star Nikki Bella Teases ‘Small, Intimate’ Wedding With John Cena

Nikki Bella may have been booted from “Dancing With the Stars” but that doesn’t mean she isn’t on cloud nine ahead of her small and intimate wedding with John Cena.

During a chat with Mirror Celebs, alongside her sister Brie, the star revealed that she and Cena plan on having a quaint affair rather than an over the top bash. Sharing details about her big day, Bella stated her sister and their cousin Kristen would be her maids of honor.

“I’m just going to do two maids of honor - so my sister and my cousin Kristen - because we’re going to have a small, intimate wedding,” she explained,

Although she and Cena plan on tying the knot next year, surrounded by family and friends, Bella admitted that she is in no rush to get married.

“She [Brie] gets on my case because she doesn’t think I’m wedding planning enough. But when you get busy…. I think it’s because I waited so long to get engaged and now I’m just happy being a fiancée,” the star explained.

Bella and Cena dated for five years before the star proposed at WrestleMania 33 in April. Since then, the two have been taking their time planning out their nuptials.

Despite the slow and steady pace of planning, Bella admitted that she would be willing to speed things up if she felt it was necessary. “Unless I start to think that John is getting cold feet then maybe I’ll rush it. I’ll be like ‘let’s get married tomorrow!’ But we’re just so happy to be engaged and I have a lot of great things happening in my life that everything just seems perfect, so I’m not in a rush,” she explained.

The reason why the “Total Bellas” star may not be in a rush to walk down the aisle is because of her focus on her career. Aside from wedding planning, the star and her sister have their Bella Radici wine company, Birdiebee clothing line and are in process of making a return to the WWE.

“We want to make a return before Brie starts planning baby number two and the Bella twins haven’t been in that ring together for two and a half years now,” she told the media outlet.

“When I had my neck injury and did my comeback Brie got pregnant, so it’s been a long time. So in 2018 we both definitely want to make a comeback,” she added.

Although Bella has not confirmed her wedding date, the star seems hopeful that between her busy schedule and return to the ring, she will be able to make a trip down the aisle.
