'Total War Rome 2' Patch 2: Developer, Gamers React To The Issues

Since its release on Sept. 3, "Total War: Rome 2" has suffered from multiple issues pertaining to low framerates, crashes, graphical bugs and much more.

Since then, "Total War: Rome 2" developer Creative Assembly has released three patches. "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 1 didn't fix all of the game's issues, and even created more issues for some gamers. "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 1.5 was just a fix for a specific issue, which left many "Total War: Rome 2" players waiting with bated breath for "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 2, which was seen by many to be the game's savior.

So far, not everyone is happy with "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 2. Here are several examples of gamers having big problems with "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 2.

This gamer reported low framerate problems with "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 2.

This gamer calls "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 2 "unplayable."

This gamer muses that a massive patch would be require to fix the ills of "Total War: Rome 2."

This gamer implies that they haven't been able to play "Total War: Rome 2" much leading up to Patch 2.

This gamer calls "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 2 a "stutterfest."

This gamer reports multiple game crashes in "Total War: Rome 2."

This gamer reported issues with AMD Crossfire and NVIDIA SLI modes. Creative Assembly responded.

Another reported major graphic issues with the game after Patch 2 was released and added the below screenshots to show what he/she has been dealing with.

Clearly, "Total War: Rome 2" has a long way to go before all of its problems are solved. "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 3 should be available before long. One can only hope that it can fix most if not all of the issues that have been plaguing the game to this point.
