  • Harry Kane decides to "no show" the first day of training camp
  • Tottenham plan to put a fine on Kane for his antics
  • Manchester City's Jack Grealish pursuit hampers their ability to go all-in on Kane

There are roughly four weeks left in the summer transfer window, and clubs are doing whatever is necessary to put them over the hill and hit their next goal as a European football club.

Players will want to determine their fates sooner than later as they would most definitely want to feel some sense of security before the start of the new soccer season.

Most teams have already started playing in their friendly matches as a way of tweaking their lineups and strategies, plus the games will also help management to determine which players get to stay for the start of the season and which of them can be sold or loaned before the August 31st deadline of the transfer window.

For the Tottenham Hotspurs, the Harry Kane situation has been a problem.

Manchester City is reportedly willing to offer £100 million ($118.7 million) plus some players in exchange for Kane.

Obviously, Tottenham is not going to part ways with their star player that easily.

The team is thought to have valued Kane at around £150 million ($178 million) as his contract is still good for the next three years.

However, recent developments have seen Kane decide to “no show” at the start of Tottenham’s training camp.

Kane was due to return for COVID-testing and the start of pre-season after being granted an extended break due to the European Championships.

Tottenham fans are more than disappointed in the England captain as it looks like him deciding not to report to training camp is his way of saying that he is forcing a transfer to Manchester City.

Team chairman Daniel Levy will most likely be irked with this move, and the club is reportedly looking into fining the team’s vice-captain for the maneuver.

As for Manchester City, the club is reportedly still in pursuit of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa for £100 million ($118.7 million) and that has since hampered their ability to fully go all-in on Kane.

For Kane to do such a thing is seen by many as immature because of his commitments to the club, and while there’s no concrete number yet for the fine, Tottenham management will make sure this doesn’t happen again.
