French police have cornered their suspect in the killings of four Jewish citizens and three French soldiers in Toulouse. Mohamed Merah, 24, was on the run for several days.
Police are hoping to capture him alive in an effort to extract information from him. He has claimed affiliation with al Qaeda and said he wanted revenge for Palestinian children killed by Israel, reported Reuters.
Authorities also believe Merah was planning more attacks.
He had foreseen other killings. Notably he foresaw another attack this morning, targeting a soldier, said prosecutor Francois Molins, according to CBS. The suspect also also planned to attack two police officers. He claims to have always acted alone.
As investigators continue to uncover more information about Merah's life and actions, the victims' families will never forget the pain.
