  • Juventus requests more time from Barca as they try to sell Aaron Ramsey
  • Ramsey's sale will create more salary space for Miralem Pjanic
  • Pjanic hopes to revive his sagging football career by reuniting with former coach

Acquiring the services of Miralem Pjanic seems to be on the priority list of Juventus, but the club is requesting more time from Barcelona.

It appears the Old Lady wants to offload Aaron Ramsey first before taking in the Bosnian midfielder from Barca.

Juventus can only close the deal with Barca on Pjanic once they sell Aaron Ramsey. This transaction would free up a large part of the wage budget per Spanish outlet Sport via Barca Blaugranes.

Hence, the attention now shifts to a couple of English Premier League clubs. Tottenham and Wolverhampton are reportedly interested in taking in the 30-year-old midfielder.

Once that is settled, Juve would have a clear path towards officially welcoming the Bosnian midfielder.

Pjanic is reportedly ready to take a pay cut to move to the Juventus Stadium, where he would be reunited with Massimiliano Allegri.

If it materializes, Pjanic will reportedly join Juventus on a two-year loan deal that includes an option to make it permanent.

Considering that he has worked with Allegri, the I Bianconeri boss has also endorsed a move to bring in the 31-year-old for next season.

Pjanic allegedly had multiple offers pitched, particularly from Serie A.

AS Roma and Inter Milan were among the teams who expressed interest in the midfielder, but Pjanic reportedly prefers a move to Juve, the same club where he rose to prominence before making the jump to Barca in 2020.

Pjanic made 19 league appearances for Barca but failed to register a single goal or an assist.

With nothing going right for him, a move back to Juventus could help put his football career back on track.

For now, all the Bosnian can do is wait until Ramsey is sold. The Welsh are owed £400,000 ($551,000) per week, but Ramsey has not justified it as he has made only 22 appearances in Serie A last season and accounted for only two goals thus far.
