Bundesliga giants Bayern Munch reportedly are preparing a $96 million bid for Liverpool FC forward Roberto Firmino for this summer.

Firmino has established himself as one of the favorites among the Reds fans since his arrival from Hoffenheim four and a half years ago. He has been a vital part of Jurgen Klopp’s team that has been unstoppable this season. They have overall lost just two matches in the ongoing 2019-20 season and the losses came in the Champions League group stage and League Cup. While they are yet to lose a Premier League match and now are only six wins away from lifting their first Premier League trophy in 30 years.

It is understood that Liverpool could consider Firmino’s bid as they are aiming to sign B Leipzig striker Timo Werner, while Bayern have already made plans of fitting Firmino well in the team as they aim to field him alongside another of their targets, Manchester City’s Leroy Sane.

Meanwhile, there are also rumors about Klopp’s mastermind plan of bringing back Philippe Coutinho to Anfield, two years after he left the Reds to join FC Barcelona. Currently, the midfielder is with Bayern on loan.

As per news reports, Bayern are considering Firmino as a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who is set to turn 32 this summer. The German club believes that they have a great chance of grabbing their target from Liverpool because they are aware that the Anfield side has already agreed to a deal to bring in Werner as his replacement.

The 23-year-old German striker has reportedly given his word to Klopp over moving to Liverpool this summer with an exit clause of $65m.

Klopp, who also hails from Germany, believes that Werner could further boost Liverpool’s scoring next season and will easily fit into their starry three-man attack alongside Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
