  • Manchester United falls on the pecking order to make a swoop for Jack Grealish
  • Grealish could remain with Aston Villa after this season
  • Grealish has yet to return from injury but could be back soon

Jack Grealish of Aston Villa will have an interesting summer to ponder, with multiple clubs reportedly interested in him.

One of them is Manchester United, a team that some feel is leading the race for the services of the 25-year-old player.

However, Grealish's agent begs to disagree. Speaking to SNTV, Jonathan Barnett reveals that he is unaware of what the summer holds.

However, he is certain that the Red Devils are not at the top of the list.

Aside from the growing interest, there is something else that needs to be considered. Rather than listen to offers, the English winger could make things simple and stay with Aston Villa.

Grealish is under contract with the Villa until 2025.

The thing with Grealish right now is that he is not playing due to an injury. However, all that could change on Thursday--with reports that the midfielder could return to action when the Lions face Everton.

If the murmurs are true, he will be available for the first time for Aston Villa since going down with a shin injury.

Grealish is back in training with Dean Smith revealing that the midfielder is slowly working his way back to shape.

Since he was forced out, Aston Villa has won just three times in 12 games. They are now ranked 11th in the English Premier League table.

Despite being kept out, Barnett shared that such has not affected Grealish mentally.

Rather than add more stress by worrying about what the next transfer window may project, the important thing right now is to get back on the field and recall his old form.

“On the field, he knows exactly what he wants to do, how to do it. I think he could be a big star in the summer. Only hope that he is given a chance and that will be great,” the agent stated.

There is no question that Grealish is a good player, a reason why Red Devils' Bruno Fernandes considers him one of the best players in the Premier League.

Grealish was seen as a potential Player of the Year contender before that unfortunate injury he sustained in February.
