  • Torinostands firm on the asking price for Gleison Bremer
  • Tottenham needs to tweak its financial pitch to Torino to acquire Bremer’s services
  • AC Milan ramps up its drive for defensive reinforcements

It appears Torino FC is ready to part with Gleison Bremer if clubs in hot pursuit can meet their asking fee for the 24-year-old defender.

A transfer to a new team could come as early as the January transfer window if any of the teams interested in the Brazilian can cough up £21.3 million ($28.2 million), Calciomercato reported.

At present, Torino has yet to seal a new deal with the Brazilian defender.

But with the January transfer window fast approaching, it appears the Italian outfit is ready to talk deal for as long as their set asking fee is set.

Tottenham and AC Milan have been linked to Bremer as both clubs are determined to add the defender to their respective mixes.

The Maroons are reportedly firm on their asking price and are not open to discounts or softening their financial demand.

Between the Spurs and I Rossoneri, the former appears bent on getting a deal done.

Fabio Paratici fancies bringing the Brazilian to North London as Tottenham ramps up its bid to acquire the right players to mount a top-four challenge.

So far, Bremer has played in 92 games for Torino and has been a regular starting fixture for Ivan Juric.

It was mentioned in a previous report here on International Business Times that Tottenham appears to be in the lead for Bremer’s signature.

The Spurs were allegedly open to paying as much as £17 million ($22.5 million) to acquire him.

If Tottenham agrees to the asking price of Torino for Bremer, that could all be made official by next month.
