Travis Barker Visited Kourtney Kardashian's Father's Grave Before Proposing, Kris Jenner Reveals

Travis Barker's decision to visit Kourtney Kardashian's father's grave to ask his daughter's hand in marriage has reportedly touched Kris Jenner's heart.

In a new episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Jenner made a revelation about Barker’s intentions toward her daughter, and his desire to make both her and her late husband know of his plans.

According to Jenner, Barker had gone out of his way to ask Robert Kardashian, Sr., for his blessing before he proposed to the Poosh founder last year.

“He came over and asked for her hand in marriage,” she recalled during a makeup priming session. “And I was like, it was so sweet and so tender, and then he said he went to your dad’s grave and asked your dad, and I just lost it.”

With tears in her eyes, Jenner added, “It’s all happy. I just wish your dad was here to see it. I can hardly believe that it’s the first time that she’s getting married.”

“That’s really crazy that she hasn’t been married before,” Kourtney's sister Kim Kardashian told her mom, before quipping, “While I’ve had enough for all of us!”

Robert, a lawyer, succumbed to esophageal cancer months after being diagnosed with the disease in 2003. He is the father of Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob Kardashian, Jr.

Meanwhile, the recent episode of “The Kardashians” also showed Kourtney’s sisters discussing how her ex, Scott Disick, would likely react to her engagement to Barker.

“He’s gonna have a hard time, but… they can’t put their life on hold just to tiptoe around him,” Khloé told Ellen DeGeneres ahead of guest starring on her show.

“No, no, I don’t think so either. I just think it’s gonna be hard, especially because she said she didn’t want to get married,” answered DeGeneres.

“That’s the part that I feel bad about. But I don’t know, you snooze you lose,” said Khloé.

Kourtney, who shares three kids -- Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7 -- with Disick, got engaged to the Blink-182 drummer in October 2021. The proposal took place in Montecito, California, nine months after they started dating.
