Shanna Moakler believes that Travis Barker, her ex-husband and the father of her children, is in good hands amid his hospitalization.

On Thursday, the 47-year-old model broke her silence on the Blink-182 drummer's hospitalization for a reported case of pancreatitis. In a statement, she shared some encouraging words for Barker and his wife Kourtney Kardashian, who was by his side when he was first rushed to the hospital Tuesday.

"Thank you to everyone who has reached out with concern to my ex and father of my children," Moakler said in a statement to Us Weekly. "I know he is in great hands and surrounded by loving support, the best medical teams available and his beautiful wife Kourtney."

Barker and the "Celebrity Big Brother" alum share two children — daughter Alabama, 16, and son Landon, 18. The musician is also stepdad to 23-year-old Atiana De La Hoya, Moakler's daughter with ex Oscar De La Hoya.

"I pray for a speedy recovery and for the comfort of my children as I know they are very concerned and worried," Moakler added. "Travis has beaten the odds numerous times, and I know with his support system he will do it again. I will always be here for him and my children. Godspeed."

Barker survived a deadly plane crash in 2008 that killed four people and left him with third-degree burns on more than half of his body. Due to the incident, he developed a fear of flying. But he overcame it with Kardashian's help and took his first flight in over a decade in August 2021, joining his wife, mother-in-law Kris Jenner and the latter's boyfriend Corey Gamble on a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Earlier this week, Barker was rushed to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center Tuesday morning for an unknown health issue. He was then transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for additional care.

Unnamed sources close to Barker and his family later told TMZ and People that he was hospitalized due to pancreatitis, an inflammation of the organ that aids in digestion and regulating blood sugar.

Doctors believe that his pancreas became inflamed due to a recent colonoscopy procedure, according to TMZ. Symptoms include nausea, intense stomach pain and vomiting.

Barker's current condition is unclear.
