Travolta, Kelly have a new baby boy

John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston have a new baby boy, Benjamin.

Their son was born on Tuesday in Florida, and weighs 8lbs and 3oz, said a press statement released by their spokesperson.

Both the mother and son are in great health and doing well. The spokesperson added that their daughter Elle Blue is ecstatic about this new addition to the family. The Hollywood couple have described the arrival of their new baby as a miracle.

John had to rush back from Australia, where he was on a promotional tour for Qantas Airlines as his wife went into labor three weeks early. He said he was ready to make the 22-hour flight. Travolta is a certified pilot and flies his own jet.

The family went through tough times after losing their 16-year-old son, Jett, last year due to a seizure attack.
