Tristan Thompson’s Father Congratulates Cager’s Ex-Girlfriend Jordan Craig On Pregnancy, Hopes It Will ‘Open His Son’s Eyes’

The father of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Tristan Thompson has congratulated his ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig, on being a mother-to-be.

In a comment on an Instagram clip of the baby shower for the unborn child held on Oct. 9, Trevor Thompson also told Craig, a model, that he hopes the pregnancy will “open the eyes” of his son, who is currently in a relationship with Khloe Kardashian.

The Cavs center/power forward and the reality TV celebrity went public with their relationship in September. A few weeks later, Craig posted photos of her big baby bump; she was eight months into her pregnancy.

This ignited rumors that Tristan Thompson is the father of the child. The basketball player, 25, had been in an on-and-off relationship with Craig for three years.

Tristan Thompson had reportedly talked to Kardashian, 32, about the baby.

“Tristan told Khloé about the baby,” a source told Us Weekly. “He’s happy about it.”

Kardashian, meanwhile, is not affected by the pregnancy, according to the source.

“Khloé's having fun with him right now and just doesn't want any drama,” the source said.

In Trevor Thompson’s new comment on the Instagram post by Craig, he said, “Congratulations on being a mother to be. Best wishes to you and the new little one coming in to the world. May God bless your [pregnancy] all the way. I hope this will open my son’s eyes… Time is the master… Bless up… One love, you are welcome always.”

Meanwhile, in one of her social media posts (via the Daily Mail) about the baby shower for the child -- indicated to be a boy -- Craig said, “Although watching and feeling you grow everyday has made my pregnancy such an unforgettable, magical experience, words cannot express how anxious and excited I am to finally meet you! Mommy loves you so much! Muah-Muah-Muah!!!! #Mommy2BeJordyC #CountingDownTheDays.”
