Troian Bellisario, Patrick J. Adams Relationship: Shay Mitchell Shares Details Of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Star’s Bachelorette Getaway
Troian Bellisario and some of her friends went to Italy a couple of weeks ago to celebrate her life as a single woman before she ties the knot with fiancé Patrick J. Adams. Among those who were in attendance during the trip was her “Pretty Little Liars” co-star Shay Mitchell, who recently shared details of their fun party.
Speaking to Us Weekly, Mitchell said they went to different Italian cities to just explore and enjoy what each of them had to offer. Mitchell said they made stops in Rome, Positano, Capri and Naples.
“It was so much fun being with the girls and fully indulging in everything from the wine to the gelato,” Mitchell said of the trip, which also included “PLL” co-star Ashley Benson.
Fans were surprised to find Lucy Hale out of the mix, but the actress clarified on Twitter that there was no bad blood between her and her co-stars. Hale maintained that she just had a different set of friends and different interests.
The trip came a few days after Adams said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that they are keeping the date of their wedding a secret and fans will only know that they tied the knot long after the ceremony has ended. Judging by the getaway, though, and the hashtag the girls utilized on social media -- #bellisariogetsbooted -- it looks like the wedding will happen this year.
Bellisario and Adams have been engaged for quite a while. The two did not rush getting married and said they were practically man-and-wife already considering how long they have been together.
Speaking to Wonderwall, Bellisario said they did not want to plan their wedding immediately since they work in different coasts and they don’t get to see each other a lot. So when they do get to spend time together, they just try to enjoy each other’s company instead of getting stressed by planning.
Bellisario and Adams met in 2009. They got engaged in 2014.
