‘True Blood’ Season 7 Premiere Date Announced; Final Season To Air on June 22 [VIDEO]
“True Blood” fans rejoice! The seventh and final season of the hit HBO series finally has a premiere date. Mark your calendars because Sookie, Bill, Eric and the rest of the Bon Temps gang will be returning to the small screen on June 22 at 9 p.m.
But the premiere date isn’t the only thing that HBO has graciously gifted fans with. The network has also released the first teaser video for Season 7 of HBO.
Clocking in at 35 seconds, the video doesn’t reveal too much. However it does leave fans hungry for more. The footage cuts through the Bon Temps graveyard, slowly moving past the tombstones belonging to beloved members of Sookie’s family – like her grandmother, Adele – and other deceased characters from seasons past like Jesus, Luna and Terry. The cameras finally stop on one final marker, which reads: “True Blood 2008 – 2014.”
“True Blood” fans can watch the first tease for Season 7 on April 6 right before “Game of Thrones” premieres its fourth season at 9 p.m. EDT.
The seventh and final season of “True Blood” will feature 10 episodes. Will you be watching on June 22? Let us know in the comments section or send a tweet to @AmandaTVScoop.
