‘True Blood’ Season 7 Spoilers: Episode 8 Synopsis Released Online; What Will Happen In ‘Almost Home’?
“True Blood” fans better make sure they’re in front of their TV’s on Sunday, Aug. 10, because only three episodes remain in the seventh and final season of the hit HBO series. Episode 8, “Almost Home,” will air on Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT, and continue to wrap up the story line of Sookie Stackhouse and the rest of the Bon Temps crew.
According to a synopsis for episode 8, “Truebies” can look forward to another confrontation with Sarah Newlin. However this one might not be as violent as the last time they came face-to-face. Viewers will remember that while she managed to escape Eric’s deadly grasp at the Ted Cruz Gala, she found herself surrounded at the old Fellowship of the Sun camp. But she wasn’t just cornered by the vampire. Eric and Pam had teamed up with the Yakuza to capture Sarah Newlin.
The initial plan was for Eric to kill her and Mr. Gus to take her body. However with Amber’s big reveal that Sarah Newlin or “Noomi” is the cure for the Hep-V virus, Mr. Gus developed different plans for her. In order to save the TruBlood company, Mr. Gus hatched a plan to create NooBlood, a cure for Hep-V vampires based off of a synthesized version of Sarah Newlin’s blood. But that wasn’t all Mr. Gus imagined doing with this new revelation – he also pitched an idea that Eric become a spokesvamp for the new product.
Eric agreed, but can he follow through on not killing Sarah Newlin? That will be the million-dollar question when he finally gets “his prey in sight” in episode 8. The synopsis teases that Eric will be reconsider his “end-game strategies against Sarah.”
Meanwhile in Bon Temps, Sookie will put her life at risk in an attempt to help save a gravely ill Bill. Lettie Mae and Lafayette will be taking matters into their own hands when it comes to trying to help Tara. The pair will try to get Reverent Daniels on board their V-fueled search – but will the Reverend set his beliefs aside in order to save his marriage to Lettie Mae?
Elsewhere Violet will turn violent. Jason’s ex-girlfriend wants “payback against those who betrayed her,” and no one will be safe from her wrath.
But amongst all the evil and violence in episode 8 of “True Blood,” viewers can look forward to a little window of hope. “Almost Home” will find an “old love” reborn – but who is the lucky recipients of the love bug?
