Trump Allies Are Going At Each Other: Lin Wood Slams Mike Lindell, QAnon John
KEY POINTS
- Wood accused Lindell of being a satanist
- He also accused QAnon John of being a fake patriot
- Wood is currently under investigation for physically assaulting two former law colleagues
Former President Donald Trump’s inner circle appears to be having a rift after conservative attorney L. Lin Wood slammed MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell and QAnon influencer John Sabal.
In a post published on his official Telegram channel Wednesday, Wood suggested that the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement was compromised, noting that some people calling themselves “patriots” are actually communists.
"Mike Lindell. Patriot or traitor? You decide," Wood wrote. "Do the research. Connect the dots. Draw your own conclusions."
In a shared post, Wood also accused Lindell of being a satanist and claimed that the MyPillow CEO once sold his products at a 66.6% discount. The number 666 is sometimes linked to "the mark of the beast,"
which is a satanic symbol.
A lengthy message from one of Wood’s followers claimed Lindell could have lied about the incident in August 2021 when the latter claimed he was physically attacked at his hotel by three men. However, Republican congressional candidate Jeff Buongiorno refuted Lindell’s recollection of the incident and said no attack happened at the hotel.
In his Telegram channel, Wood also blasted Sabal, also known as QAnon John, adding that he had been playing Sabal to "expose him as a fake patriot." Wood urged Sabal to “confess and repent” in a separate post.
Wood also hit out at other key Trump allies, including former Attorney General William Barr and Trump-appointed special counsel for the U.S. Department of Justice John Durham in his Telegram posts.
Wood has previously gone after other figures in the MAGA movement. In December, Wood called Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., a “pawn of the devil.” In November, he accused a pro-Trump group, “Stop the Steal,” of being part of a deep-state campaign.
Wood also previously blasted Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, for suggesting that the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol, which killed four civilians and one police officer, was a violent terrorist attack.
The Telegram post comes after a federal appeals court Tuesday dismissed Wood’s appeal to block the Georgia state bar from seeking a mental health exam as part of its investigation. Investigators are currently probing an accusation that claimed Wood physically assaulted two of his former law colleagues and a tweet he published calling for then-Vice President Mike Pence to be executed.
