Donald Trump has been accused of killing himself and the citizens with his stand against coronavirus.

Jason Miciak of Political Flare criticized the president of his action towards COVID-19. In his article, he wrote that the POTUS is “killing citizens, and he is killing himself.” The piece was a reaction after Trump said that he didn’t want the cruise ship in San Francisco to be emptied for quarantine because “it will make the numbers double.”

It appeared for Miciak that Trump cares more about the number reported than the numbers of sick. He predicted that the POTUS’ move will only lead to his downfall.

“Remember that statement, THAT statement will go down in history as the perfect summation of the Trump presidency, of the “MAGA” movement, remember it well,” Miciak wrote.

“Donald Trump’s refusal to quickly test and plot the disease will lead to his downfall, and – most unfortunately, make him a party to the deaths of thousands. That is no longer hyperbole, Trump is sealing his and our fate.”

Eric Lutz of Vanity Fair also felt that Trump wasn’t taking the disease very seriously. He wrote that Trump was putting a “sunny characterization of the crisis” despite the experts’ assessment of the situation.

Trump insisted that he and his staff have the matter under control. However, Lutz doubted it and added that it won’t take long before the people would find out if he was telling the truth.

“Recall that this refusal to test fits a pattern: This the same president who railed against attempts to count the dead in Puerto Rico post-Maria and canceled a NASA program using satellite and aircraft instruments to monitor carbon emissions. Ignorance is a lethal political tool,” Naomi Klein wrote on Twitter. https://twitter.com/NaomiAKlein/status/1235908339634188289.

Meanwhile, Trump falsely accused Barack Obama’s administration for the coronavirus testing problems. He alleged that the former president regulated the abilities of state laboratories. However, Sen. Lamar Alexander’s aide Taylor Haulsee and Peter Kyriacopoulos, chief policy officer at the Association of Public Health Laboratories both said that there were changes in the regulations.

“There has not yet been significant regulatory reform of diagnostics passed by Congress,” Haulsee said.
