Truth About Angelina Jolie, Justin Theroux ‘Hookup’ As Revenge On Brad, Jennifer

Angelina Jolie didn’t hook up with Justin Theroux to get revenge on exes Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

A year ago, there were a lot of rumors involving the “Ad Astra” actor and his first ex-wife, Aniston. Jolie was dragged into the issue and was linked to the “Cake” star’s ex-husband, Theroux.

NW published a report claiming that the “Maleficent” star planned to get revenge on Pitt and Aniston, who were apparently seeing each other again, by “hooking up” with her ex, Theroux. The insider added that Theroux was more Jolie’s type anyway because he’s “edgy,” unlike “all-American Brad.”

The unnamed source contended that Jolie tried to dupe Theroux into a meeting to collaborate on a movie but her “ulterior motive” was nothing more than “revenge” on Pitt and Aniston. The “Bumblebee” star wasn’t tricked but he also didn’t care being Jolie’s “pawn in her game.” Theroux just “doesn’t feel like he owes Jen anything.”

Gossip Cop debunked the report and called it “bogus.” Pitt and Aniston were not dating then or even now, which made the “revenge” claims “implausible and absurd.”

The rumor-debunking site also cited the false reports from the same tabloid claiming that Pitt was also attracted to Jennifer Garner because she’s an action heroine like Jolie with a “girl-next-door nature” similar to Aniston. Both reports from the outlet romantically linking Pitt to Aniston and Garner were just fabrication.

Around the same time, National Enquirer reported that Jolie was heartbroken and shattered over Pitt and Aniston getting back together. An insider claimed that the “Changeling” actress was totally humiliated that Pitt reconnected with his first ex-wife, before adding that it was Jolie’s “worst nightmare.” Again, the report was not true.

When Aniston and Theroux announced that they were parting ways following her birthday in 2018, Pitt and Aniston’s fans were ecstatic and hoped that the two would get back with each other since they were both single. This triggered a lot of rumors involving the exes. However, Pitt and Aniston never really met in person until her 50th birthday last month.

The rumors about Pitt and Aniston getting back with each other never really stopped. The two reportedly enjoyed a luxurious vacation in Cabo, Mexico after reuniting during her birthday bash. While it’s true that Aniston flew to Mexico, she did not go on the trip with Pitt but her close friend, Courteney Cox.
