Truth About Ben Affleck 'Back In Rehab' After Jennifer Garner Divorce Finalized

Just days after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner's divorce got finalized, United Kingdom tabloids claimed the actor was back in rehab after his 40-day stint. However, Gossip Cop debunked the rumor citing the "Batman" star's representative who called the claims "not true."

According to Mirror Online, “Affleck has checked back into rehab to make sure he beats the booze.” The British tabloid said Affleck “told friends he believes he needs several more months of treatment to stay sober.” An unreliable source claimed Affleck was set to “move out and become an outpatient, but he’s checked back in.”

The Daily Mail also picked up the report claiming the “Gone Girl” actor still needed more months of treatment before he can quit alcohol.

However, Affleck was not back in rehab after his divorce with Garner got finalized Wednesday. The actor was at the Celebrity Fan Fest in San Antonio on Sunday and hence, it proved he had not returned to rehab.

Since leaving the rehab, several rumors surfaced about Affleck's addiction, including one that claimed Matt Damon was “distancing himself” from his best friend amid his personal issues.

RadarOnline reported Damon was planning “a total overhaul of his social circle” and "he’s going through a little restlessness in middle age and fixing his image was the kind of challenge he needed right about now. He’s acquiring some stable, ‘normal’ friends he can share the journey with."

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report saying the rumors were completely false.

Meanwhile, several other rumors about Affleck's dating life also surfaced after he ended his romance with Shauna Sexton, which lasted throughout his 40 days at an in-patient rehab treatment center.

According to a report, the actor has been “getting his flirt on” with Janina Gavankar on the set of their new movie "Torrance" and also that Affleck was seen "getting super-cozy" with his co-star.

“Ben seems smitten and hangs off Janina’s every word. He’s going out of his way to impress her, and there’s a lot of talk on set about their connection,” a source told Woman’s Day Australia. This claim was also debunked by Gossip Cop, as the actor was focusing on his work after his rehab stint.
