Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron may be Hollywood's new golden couple after Brangelina broke up and Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from the actor.

The Sun's Clemmie Moodie learned that Pitt, 55, and Theron, 43, who initially became friends through her ex Sean Penn, had reportedly been dating for almost a month now. The pair had apparently been friends for a while now, so their relationship just developed naturally.

According to the Sun report, the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor and Theron met up at Los Angeles' Chateau Marmont over the weekend. Pitt went there after attending an "If Beale Street Could Talk" screening that he hosted at a private house in the Hollywood Hills, while the Oscar-winning actress was a guest of honor at a "Roma" event in the hotel.

"Brad came over to Chateau afterwards, changed his outfit and joined Charlize in a corner of the bar," an insider claimed. "She was on a vodka cocktail while he stuck to mineral water. They were ridiculously touchy-feely and his arm was around her back. At one point he winked at her."

The same source added that Pitt seemed to be in a "really good place" in his life, and the rumored couple looked "really happy."

But Fox News and other outlets were not able to get confirmation from Theron's and Pitt's reps regarding their relationship, so fans should take this with a grain of salt for now. Pitt has also been rumored to be dating other celebrities such as Sienna Miller and Margot Robbie since his breakup with Jolie, but none of the rumors turned out to be true.

Despite the lack of official statement from the rumored couple, fans have not stopped expressing their happiness for Pitt and Theron on social media.

Meanwhile, Pitt and Jolie parted ways in 2016 after two years of marriage and a decade as a couple. In November last year, Pitt managed to reach an agreement with Jolie on the custody of their six children: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10.

As for Theron, her last public relationship had been with Penn. In June 2015, the ex-couple ended their relationship and called off their engagement.
