Bauer media Group-owned magazine Women’s Day Australia claimed in its latest issue that Pitt took Aniston to a romantic vacation days after she celebrated her big “five-zero” milestone. The two were reportedly spotted together at LAX as they were leaving for a hush-hush escape.

The magazine also cited a supposed source who allegedly caught sight of the Hollywood celebs the day they left for their getaway. The source was even quoted to have said that Pitt and Aniston “needed some time alone away from prying eyes.”

The tipster also appeared to have insider information about the actress’ feelings for the actor. The tipster claimed that Jennifer is still “head-over-heels” for Brad despite the controversies that hit them following their split all the way back in 2005.

The questionable insider also said that the former husband and wife were using this getaway for the possible rekindling of their romance. The magazine’s insider did not give the specific destination of the exes but simply said that they were traveling to “a place where they are finally ready to find love again.”

Gossip Cop has since debunked the magazine’s story and its supposed source’s claims. The fact-checking website pointed out that there was no sighting of Pitt and Aniston at LAX last week. As A-list celebs, they should have been hounded by the paparazzi the moment they stepped out together at the airport.

Moreover, Gossip Cop reached out to Aniston’s ex for confirmation and the latter outrightly denied the narrative and even called it “fabricated.” The actress’ rep also asserted that Aniston didn’t even go on a getaway, so nothing of the rumored romantic reunion with Pitt actually happened.

Aniston and Pitt made headlines earlier this month when the latter showed up at the former’s 50th birthday celebration. The actor turned heads since many were surprised that he and his first ex-wife are on good terms.

An insider told Us Weekly at the time that it wasn’t big of a deal for the “Friends” alum because she sent out invites to a lot of people. However, she was reportedly happy to see Pitt there. She was even spotted hugging and thanking Pitt for coming and that’s it.

Pitt’s appearance at Aniston’s bash came amid his custody battle with his second ex-wife, Jolie. The “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” co-stars are reportedly still in the process of discussing their custody over their six children: Maddox, 17; Pax, 15; Zahara, 14; Shiloh, 12; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10.
