Brad Pitt was apparently getting some love and support from Margot Robbie following his divorce from Angelina Jolie, a new report has claimed. However, Gossip Cop has now proven this rumor to be false.

OK! Australia recently put out a story claiming that Pitt and his "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" co-star grew closer and formed a "special bond" while filming the upcoming movie. The 55-year-old actor's relationship with Robbie reportedly isn't romantic, but the actress was apparently Pitt's rock during the turbulent months after his divorce from Jolie.

“Sometimes Margot is also a shoulder for Brad to lean on, as he has suffered horribly during his divorce,” the unnamed tipster claimed in the report. “He has told friends how kind she is and that she also has a brilliant mind, but people judge her too much on her looks.”

A so-called insider claimed in the OK! Australia report that now that they have finished filming, Pitt and Robbie are planning to meet up in secret. They reportedly don't want to let anyone know about their friendship as they want to avoid any dating rumors about them being splashed across tabloids.

Gossip Cop, however, has confirmed that the claims are nothing more than speculation. A source close to the situation told the site that there is no truth to the magazine's report that Pitt has been leaning on Robbie.

In a recent interview with Porter magazine, Robbie revealed that she was "barely on set" with Pitt during the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" shooting as they do not have many scenes together. Based on this, it is unlikely for Robbie to have formed an intimate relationship with the actor like OK! Australia claimed.

Gossip Cop also pointed out that OK! Australia's report claimed that Pitt and Robbie are "almost like siblings." However, the same tabloid also claimed a few months ago that Pitt was attracted to the actress and would ask her out on a date if she wasn't married to Tom Ackerley.

The magazine has a history of putting out false stories about Robbie and her love life. Last year, the tabloid claimed that she and her husband were having marital issues in one report, while another claimed they were expecting their first child. Both reports have been debunked by Gossip Cop.

As for Pitt and Robbie's movie, "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" will be released on July 26. It was directed by Quentin Tarantino and also stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Al Pacino and Dakota Fanning.
