Truth About Britney Spears’ Engagement Plans Post California Wildfire Scare

The California wildfires scare has not made Britney Spears realize she wanted to get engaged to boyfriend Sam Asghari, despite rumors. Gossip Cop debunked reports stating the singer was reevaluating her life after being forced to evacuate her Thousand Oaks home due to the wildfire, which also made her realize the importance of her boyfriend in her life.

Hollywood Life reported escaping the fire has made Spears “even more aware of how lucky she is and how very much she loves” her boyfriend.

The outlet also quoted an insider saying the wildfires “reminded Spears how very precious life can be and it’s made her really focus on not wasting one moment.”

“Britney’s more eager than ever to get engaged to Sam and she wants it to happen over the holidays this year,” the alleged insider said.

Gossip Cop checked with Spears’ friend who said there was absolutely no truth in the report. Gossip Cop was also told no one from Spears’ trusted inner circle spoke to the outlet regarding her reaction to the California wildfires.

And while it was certainly possible Spears will get engaged to her boyfriend of two years at some point in the future, that decision will have nothing to do with evacuating her home earlier this week.

The outlet had recently stated Kylie Jenner was “heartbroken” Caitlyn Jenner’s Malibu home “burned down.” However, it was later revealed Caitlyn’s home remained intact and the report was false.

Spears and her boyfriend Asghari were first romantically linked In December 2016 after he appeared in Spears’ “Slumber Party” music video. People reported he gave Spears his number and five months later she reached out.

In a radio interview Spears said, “I was like, ‘He was a really cute, this guy was really cute,’ so I called him. He’s just a really fun, funny person.”

In May 2017, they made their relationship social media official by posting a photo of themselves together. Since then the couple has shared several photos of them from all over the world. Asghari was a personal trainer-turned-model and the two often work out together.

Speaking about their fitness videos on social media he said, “The exercises, I come up with them, but the videos are because of my better half. She’s the video director."

“She motivates me more than anyone. It’s crazy how I can be humbled by a person like her. If I could be that humble when I’m that high in life, that would be the best thing. She is another blessing that happened to me,” Asghari said in an interview to Men’s Health.
