Truth About Chris Pratt Dating Katherine Schwarzenegger To Anger Anna Faris

Chris Pratt is not using Katherine Schwarzenegger to upset Anna Faris, despite rumors. Gossip Cop debunked reports stating Pratt was seeking “revenge” on estranged wife by flaunting his relationship with Schwarzenegger.

According to OK!, Pratt is furious with Faris for dating cinematographer Michael Barrett following their separation last year. A source told the magazine Pratt was “purposely packing on the PDA” with Schwarzenegger “to get under Anna’s skin” and “give Anna a taste of her own medicine.”

“It was hard for him to watch Anna flaunt her new romance. He thought she was being really insensitive,” the source added. The source went on to say Pratt knew his ex-wife was “seething over” his new found love.

The entire plot of the report was untrue as Pratt and Schwarzenegger have not been spotted displaying any sort of over-the-top PDA except a kiss in July. Secondly, Pratt and Faris are in good terms even now and are working together to co-parent their 6-year-old son Jack.

“They are very friendly and seem happy when they are together with their son,” an insider told People last week. The two were also spotted with their son on two separate outings last week.

The former couple first announced they were splitting Aug. 6, 2017, after being married for almost 8 years.

"Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we're really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another,” he posted on Facebook.

In April this year, Pratt opened up about the separation and said, "Divorce sucks, but at the end of the day, we've got a great kid who's got two parents who love him very much.”

“We're finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It's not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better,” he added.

Pratt has been dating Schwarzenegger since June this year. People reported the couple was getting serious about the relationship.

“It’s only been a couple of months, but they’re both serious about the relationship and hopeful for the future. Chris doesn’t just date to date, and neither does Katherine. She’s very excited,” a source close to the couple said.

“Chris and Katherine are very happy together. They’re very compatible and have a lot in common. Family is very important to both of them, as well as their spirituality. She’s very, very sweet and maternal and great with his son,” Pratt’s representative said.

Faris, on the other hand, started dating Barrett in October last year.
