The Truth About Former 'Teen Mom' Star Jenelle Evans Returning To The Show
Jenelle Evans is no longer under contract with MTV and as her first order of business she spilled some juicy details about the show that made her famous -- "Teen Mom."
The mother of three dished about her stance with the reality show and her former costars during an appearance on iClick TV's "Dirty Reality" podcast. One of the interesting "facts" she spewed was that the network was looking into bringing her back on the show -- it's been over a year since she was fired -- and simultaneously kicking off Jade Cline. However, that wasn't the full story according to The Ashley's Reality Roundup sources.
"That’s completely ridiculous," one source said of the claims that Jade was potentially going to be axed from "Teen Mom 2".
"Now, maybe that’s what [the producers] were telling Jenelle but that was never going to happen," the insider elaborated. "Jade’s story is so dramatic and interesting, and they had already been shooting Jade’s footage for the season. There is no way they would waste budget money to send a crew and film Jade for the new season if there was any chance they would not be using her in the new season. None."

Another claim Jenelle made was that after she left her husband (they have since reunited), David Eason, and went to live in Tennessee, MTV producers wanted to collect footage of her with her children -- a claim that another source felt was true, but couldn't confirm.
"When [the producers] were talking to Jenelle when she was living alone in Nashville without David, they were not convinced that it was legit," the source added. "That’s why I believe the cellphone footage story is true, as they weren’t spending the money to send a crew down to film and risk running into David."
Both sources added that while production wasn't considering bringing the 28-year-old back on "Teen Mom 2" they did consider having her be a part of Kailyn Lowry's storyline.
"They got the idea when all of the domestic violence stuff was circulating about Chris [Lopez]," one source revealed. "They had the idea that Kail could possibly call Jenelle and then visit her to squash their beef and talk about their experiences."
These days, Jenelle and the network appear to have completely cut ties with each other which leaves her free to work on other projects.
"I’m moving on to new things and better things," she shared in early April. "I have a new team I’m working with and we got some projects going on behind the scenes so I’m excited for whenever I can announce that."
