Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not relying on costumes to spice up their relationship. However, the 49-year-old, who often shares special moments of her romance on Instagram, is at the center of a new report claiming her boyfriend enjoys seeing her dress up in racy outfits.

Stefani, who finalized her divorce from Gavin Rossdale in 2016, first met Shelton on “The Voice” Season 7. The couple, who often shares special moments of their relationship on social media continued their tradition over the weekend. However, the latest posts appeared to fuel misleading accusations.

After Stefani shared several videos of herself dressed as Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas” and Shelton wearing sailor costume, Hollywood Life published an article suggesting the country coroner thinks it’s “so sexy” when the No Doubt artist dresses up.

“They have insane chemistry, it’s off the charts. Gwen loves to dress up and Blake loves when she does it, so they’re very well suited in that regard,” an “insider” told the gossip site.

The supposed confidant went on to claim wearing costumes “definitely adds some extra spice to their relationship.”

However, Stefani’s rep told Gossip Cop, the story is untrue. The fact-checking website also noted that Stefani and Shelton simply dressed up to attend a Halloween party. Over on Stefani’s Instagram Story, she documented the costumed festivities, revealing the couple was celebrating her niece Stella’s birthday.

Rather than donning the outfits to spice up their relationship, Shelton and Stefani were accompanied by her sons, Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and Apollo, 4, who she shares with Rossdale. The three boys were also in costume dressed up as a pirate, Spongebob Squarepants and a werewolf, respectively.

Although Stefani and Shelton shared a kiss and appeared to have a good time at the celebration, there was no indication Stefani dressed up to appease her boyfriend. Instead, the singer appeared to be following the dress code for the evening.

While the couple seems to enjoy dressing up for Halloween, insiders insist no one is leaking details about Stefani and Shelton’s relationship.
