The Truth About Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton’s Relationship Amid Split Rumors

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton did not break up following a fight about her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Despite “The Voice” Season 15 judge’s latest Instagram post wishing the “Hollaback Girl” artist a happy birthday, a new report is claiming the couple has split.

Stefani, who finalized her divorce with Rossdale in 2016, shares three kids with the Bush frontman, sons Zuma, Apollo and Kingston. Although the exes frequently communicate to co-parent their children, a new article alleges Rossdale managed to create tension between his ex-wife and her boyfriend.

The National Enquirer published an article claiming Shelton and Stefani broke up due to ongoing arguments and distance. A “source” reportedly told the tabloid the “I’ll Name the Dogs” artist dumped the No Doubt singer. “Gwen was devastated. They are living apart and barely communicating.”

The “confidante” went on to suggest one of the reasons for the split was Stefani’s failure to stand up for Shelton during a conversation with Rossdale. The British musician supposedly had an issue with the country singer spending time with his three sons.

“Blake freaked out when he found out that Gavin had complained that he had taken the boys on ATV jaunts on his Oklahoma ranch,” the “insider,” said.

“He was livid when Gwen didn’t defend him more strongly with Gavin,” the “source” added.

Along with feeling betrayed, Shelton allegedly came to the decision to dump Stefani due to her refusal to relocate to Oklahoma. “She thought it was incredibly selfish for Blake to insist they put aside her whole life to make him happy.”

However, a rep for Stefani told Gossip Cop that the National Enquirer article was “not true.” The fact-checking site noted that Shelton actually shared a sweet post about Stefani on Oct. 3 in celebration of her 49th birthday.

The birthday girl reportedly posted a video on her Instagram Story later that day featuring herself, Shelton and her children. Gossip Cop suggested the group celebration contradicted the tabloid’s article claiming Rossdale didn’t want his kids around Shelton.

Although Stefani and her ex-husband may not have the best relationship, seeing as the two were in mediation over their boys last month, she has not allowed Rossdale to affect her romance with Shelton.
