The Truth About Gwen Stefani Dumping Blake Shelton For Gavin Rossdale Rumors

Gwen Stefani would not end her relationship with Blake Shelton for a second chance with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Despite the 48-year-old singer’s divorce from the Bush frontman in 2016, a new report is claiming No Doubt singer would get back together with her former spouse.

During their 13 year marriage, Stefani and Rossdale had three sons together Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. Although the exes were recently in mediation over custody for their boys, a tabloid alleged “The Sweet Escape” singer still cares for the father of her children.

The National Enquirer published an article detailing the account of a “source,” who claimed Stefani “can’t stand Gavin,” but “still loves her cheating ex.” The supposed confidante went on to suggest the songstress would take Rossdale back “in a minute,” but she has issues with his parenting style.

The “insider” went on to allege that Stefani believes her ex is selfish and “isn’t pulling his weight” as a father. However, the “source” insisted the star loves Rossdale more than her current boyfriend, Blake Shelton. “Her feelings for [Rossdale] are stronger than any she’ll ever feel for Blake.”

A rep for Stefani denied the claims made about the singer and told Gossip Cop the National Enquirer article was “untrue.”

While the tabloid alleges Rossdale has a stronger hold on Stefani’s heart than Shelton, the “Cool” singer appeared pretty smitten with boyfriend during a June interview with “Good Morning America.”

“He’s my homeboy. He’s my homey. He’s just really an amazing all-around human so I feel so grateful for that,” she said while speaking of her Las Vegas residency.

“I celebrate him in the show. He’s inspired me so much. He’s changed my life. I was like, ‘You changed my show, you changed my life.’ Such an inspiration.”

Meanwhile, Shelton previously credited Stefani with saving his life following his divorce from Miranda Lambert. “I tell people all the time, Gwen saved my life last year, she did and I think she would probably tell you something similar about me. We didn’t really know each other that well. Even the first season that Gwen was on [The Voice], I didn’t ever really get to know her that well,” he told CMT in 2016.

Shelton and Stefani were first romantically linked in October 2015 after meeting on Season 7 of “The Voice.”
