Truth About Gwen Stefani Forcing Blake Shelton To Hit Gym With Breakup Threat
Did Gwen Stefani threaten to break up with Blake Shelton if he doesn't hit the gym and lose weight? This is the latest outrageous report from the National Enquirer, but Gossip Cop has now proven this to be completely made-up.
In its latest issue, National Enquirer recently released a story claiming that Stefani has given her boyfriend an ultimatum to start working out in the gym or she'll break up with him. An unnamed source told the questionable tabloid that while Stefani loves Shelton, she is sick of him packing on the pounds and not taking care of his health.
The so-called source went on to claim that Stefani is demanding for Shelton to exercise is because she wants to have a child with him. She is reportedly afraid that the country singer won't be healthy enough to raise their child with her because Shelton's diet apparently consists of unhealthy food like fried chicken, mac and cheese, steak and vodka.
“Gwen is furious that Blake doesn’t take better care of himself, creating the possibility he may not live long enough to see their child grow up,” the source claimed. “She knows it’s late in life for both of them to bring another child into their lives. She just wants to make sure that Blake takes care of himself for them to raise a family from middle age to late in life.”
The National Enquirer story further claimed that Shelton is refusing to go to the gym. He reportedly promised to Stefani that he'll do his part in raising their future child, but he still won't sign up for fitness training. The questionable tipster, however, claimed that even though he doesn't like it, Shelton still goes on a diet and occasionally hits the gym to make Stefani happy.
Gossip Cop, however, has debunked all the claims in the National Enquirer report. The outlet received confirmation from Stefani's rep that there is no truth to the claims made in the article. Stefani has also never threatened to break up with Shelton over his fitness and health.
In addition, this tabloid report is also unlikely to be true because in 2017, Stefani revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Shelton encourages her to work out in the gym. The former "Voice" coach said Shelton was her "trainer" and motivates her to start moving when she doesn't want to.
It is also very unlikely for Stefani and Shelton to be planning to expand their family right now, since the former will be performing all year at Las Vegas.
This isn't the first time that the National Enquirer has put out a false story about Stefani and Shelton. Back in December 2017, the tabloid also claimed that Stefani wanted Shelton to lose weight or she would dump him. However, Gossip Cop also debunked that outrageous claim.
