- Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux relationship
- Brad Pitt and Alia Shawkat relationship
Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are reportedly going on a double date but with separate partners.
An insider told Woman’s Day that Aniston and Pitt are planning to go on a double date at the Golden Globe Awards. The exes were allegedly bringing their own date for their reunion.
Aniston is reportedly bringing her second ex-husband Justin Theroux as her date. Meanwhile, Pitt is having his rumored girlfriend Alia Shawkat as his date.
“She wants to use the opportunity to prove that while they’ve rebuilt their relationship, it’s strictly platonic,” a supposed source told the outlet.
“She’s telling pals it could be an opportunity for her and Justin to continue working towards their own reunion, which would be her perfect start to 2020.”
However, the report is bogus. Sources close to the couple said the claims were not true. First, Aniston and Theroux are not together.
Aniston and Theroux’s getting back rumors sparked after they spent Thanksgiving together with the “Murder Mystery” star’s pals. However, it is not true that they have reconciled. Also, the “Cake” actress is unlikely to get back with Theroux regardless of her status because she is already moving on.
Second, Pitt and Shawkat are not dating despite the romantic claims linking the two.
An insider told People that Pitt is “very much about keeping friends as friend” and Shawkat is one of them.
“He just loves surrounding himself with good friends,” the source said. “Brad loves the art world. He has a large group of artist friends that he hangs out with. Several are women, but he isn’t dating them.”
Meanwhile, Pitt and Aniston have just reunited at the latter’s holiday party. The “Ad Astra” actor was reportedly among the first to arrive and the last to leave.
It wasn’t the first time Pitt and Aniston reunited this year. Pitt was also present at Aniston’s 50th birthday bash in February.
Pitt and Aniston will be reuniting in 2020 for the Golden Globe Awards since they are both nominees. An insider told Us Weekly that their reunion will not be uncomfortable because they have been friends following their split. The source said that there was a time when their reunion would have been awkward but not this time and “not anymore.”
