Truth About Justin Theroux’s Jealousy Over Jennifer Aniston’s Alleged Boyfriend Leyon Azubuike

Following an already false rumor of actress Jennifer Aniston dating her personal trainer, Leyon Azubuike, another publication tried to suggest her estranged husband, Justin Theroux, was jealous of her new boyfriend — a story that was debunked by Gossip Cop.

The buzz around an alleged relationship between Aniston and Azubuike started after Star published an article Wednesday where it falsely claimed “sparks” were flying between the two.

Building on the already fake story, Hollywood Life published its own take on the story the same day, titled, “Is Justin Theroux Jealous Over Rumors That Jennifer Aniston’s Dating Her Hot Personal Trainer?”

In the article the publication cited a so-called source close to the actor, who claimed to have an inside scoop about what Theroux feels about the alleged relationship between Aniston and Azubuike.

“Justin’s not ready to hear about Jennifer dating anyone else, he’s not even close to over her so it’s very hard to think of her moving on brings up a lot of jealousy,” the source told Hollywood Life.

“But the fact that her rumored new man Leyon is this amazing boxer makes it that much worse because boxing is currently a big passion for Justin. Jennifer and Justin still communicate all the time and she’s assured him that she isn’t dating her trainer. Still, Justin can’t help but worry that she might just be saying that to protect him and spare his feelings. If that’s the case, and it turns out that Jennifer really is dating Leyon, it’ll be very hard for Justin to take,” the source added.

Although Hollywood Life attempted to redeem itself by saying there was no truth to the rumor that Aniston was dating Azubuike, it also tried to hint at the possibility the “Friends” actress and “The Girl On The Train” actor might have plans to get back together in the near future, as Theroux’s cars were still parked inside Aniston’s garage.

Rumors of Aniston and Theroux’s reunion have been thwarted multiple times in the past. One source told Us Weekly in March the former couple have barely spoken to each other since the split and that Aniston “is keeping busy with dinners and social engagements.” More recently a different source told E! that Justin was “living life exactly how he wants to be in New York and has moved on from his L.A. life with Jen. He’s very happy with where he is.”

Coming back to the main story, which started it all, Star fraudulently claimed in its article titled “Jen Has Sparks With Sparring Partner” that Aniston was “getting a little help” in moving on “from her beefy boxing trainer.”

“Jen took up boxing when things started to get bad with Justin,” a source told the outlet. “After a few months, she was spending more time with Leyon than her husband. Some friends think Jen just needed something to punch to vent her frustration with Justin.”

Gossip Cop debunked the story, stating Aniston started working out with Azubuike last year, long before she announced her split with Theroux in a recent interview with InStyle Magazine. Also, her trainer has gone on record to talk about their workouts in recent weeks and there has been no suggestion that they have more than a professional relationship.

A representative for the actress confirmed to Gossip Cop that Aniston dating Azubuike was a complete “fabrication.”
