Kate Middleton’s fourth pregnancy has reportedly just been confirmed by one member of the royal family.

A source recently told New Idea that Princess Charlotte let the cat out of the bag during her first week at Thomas’s Battersea. The 4-year-old adorably told her schoolmates that her mom is pregnant. The source said that Princess Charlotte is also aware that her new sibling will be a girl.

“One of the teaching aides overheard Charlotte saying it and couldn’t believe her ears – Charlotte was talking very loudly, and seemed convinced that her mummy was pregnant. It was certainly quite the bombshell to drop in her first week of school!” the source said.

Rumors about Middleton’s pregnancy have been ripe especially in the last couple of weeks. When she dropped off her two children at Thomas’s Battersea, Middleton sported a new hairstyle and hair color.

Eagle-eyed royal fans said that the changes are an indication that Prince William’s wife could be expecting. During her first three pregnancies, Middleton also changed her hair color and her hairstyle before making an official announcement.

And when she launched her Back to Nature garden, Middleton was spotted chatting and laughing with a group of youngsters. Royal fans said that it was evident that the mom of three was feeling broody at that time.

But as of late, no confirmation about Middleton’s alleged pregnancy has been made. It is also unclear whether or not Princess Charlotte really told her schoolmates that her mom is expecting.

It is possible that just like other girls her age, Princess Charlotte was just playing with her imagination. A similar thing happened months ago after a royal fan spotted Prince George and Princess Charlotte playing outside their home.

When the royal fan asked Prince George what his name was, he told the woman that he’s Archie. Obviously, this isn’t Prince George’s real name. It is possible that this was his imaginary moniker.
