Truth About Mila Kunis, Camila Alves Ruining Ashton Kutcher, Matthew McConaughey’s Friendship
Trying to create a rift between longtime friends, a tabloid claimed that actors Ashton Kutcher and Matthew McConaughey’s bond was being ruined by a growing rivalry between their respective spouses, Mila Kunis and Camila Alves. However, the report was soon debunked.
The fraudulent entertainment outlet which tried to create the false narrative was OK! Magazine. It claimed that Kunis and Alves were “at war” and since they were “not fans of each other” their equation, or lack thereof, was creating problems for Kutcher and McConaughey, who were great friends and enjoyed spending time with each other.
“Mila just rolls her eyes when Ashton talks about what a great mom and philanthropist Camila is, and Camila doesn’t like hearing what a sports fanatic Mila is,” the questionable source said, and went on to add that while both the actors would “love to have family outings,” they were in mutual agreement that “the women in their lives need to get along before that can happen.”
Gossip Cop reached out to two sources to verify the story. While one of the insiders close to the situation cast doubt on whether Kutcher and McConaughey’s wives had ever come face-to-face, Kunis’ rep confirmed that OK! Magazine’s report had no truth to it and that there was no bad blood between the actress and Alves.
In fact, in August, Kutcher and Kunis attended the sixth annual Kershaw’s Challenge Ping Pong 4 Purpose, hosted Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw and his wife, where McConaughey and Alves were honored with the Kershaw’s Challenge Impact Award for their exceptional charity work through their Just Keep Livin’ Foundation.
The “Dallas Buyers Club” actor was not accompanied by his wife at the event, he graciously went up the stage and accepted the award for both of them. He also took a number of photos with Kutcher and Kunis both at the red carpet as well during the event. Later, the “No Strings Attached” actor and his wife were seen going up against Clayton and another player in a competitive game of ping pong, Entertainment Tonight reported.
OK! Magazine has a history of making up false celebrity rumors. Last year, the tabloid fabricated an entire interview after it claimed that Kunis spoke exclusively to the outlet regarding her marriage with Kutcher. It was later revealed the actress never spoke to the magazine and that it had simply pieced together snips and bits from other interviews that the actress had given to other outlets over the years and called it an “exclusive” article.
