Did Miley Cyrus check herself into rehab after being forced by her mom, Tish, and boyfriend, Cody Simpson? This is what a new report is claiming, but there appears to be no truth to these speculations.

According to NW, the former child star has been awfully quiet on social media because she’s in rehab. But this is untrue because Cyrus has been sharing photos and videos online. The singer was also photographed celebrating Thanksgiving with her family last week.

But an unnamed source still told the tabloid the Cyrus has been off the rails for so long and something very serious had to be done to prevent her from spiraling out of control.

“Miley’s habit of boozing and drugging is taking a toll on her, even though she insists she’s sober. Cody recognized her mood swings, erratic ways and desperate need for attention meant that she was on the edge of a full-scale meltdown,” the so-called source claimed.

The report claiming that Cyrus has not been active on social and using it as a basis for her alleged rehab stint appears to be merely speculation. On Tuesday, the singer posted a video featuring one of her biggest idols, Britney Spears. Cyrus greeted the “Toxic” singer on her birthday.

Hours later, Cyrus also uploaded a Christmas-inspired video featuring George Clooney. In the clip, the “Wrecking Ball” singer is wearing a red tube dress and matching red headband.

Meanwhile, the singer previously talked about her drug addiction while appearing on “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” When RuPaul asked Cyrus what happened to her alter ego Hannah Montana, the singer gave a cryptic response.

“A lot of drugs,” she jokingly said.

Two years ago, the singer also revealed that she has stopped smoking weed. While speaking with Billboard, Cyrus said that she has not done drugs for three weeks.

“I haven’t smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I’ve ever [gone without it]. I’m not doing drugs, I’m not drinking, I’m completely clean right now! That was just something that I wanted to do,” she said.
