The Truth About Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth's Relationship Amid 'Failing Romance' Rumors
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are still going strong despite recent rumors of trouble in their relationship. On Monday, Gossip Cop debunked a report by Radar Online that claimed the couple has agreed on a "sex pact" that will help them save their "failing romance."
The report by Radar Online comes days after rumors surfaced that Cyrus and Hemsworth have called off their wedding plans after having a disagreement over their family plans. However, the reports about their split and the latest one claiming trouble in paradise are all false.
“They’re tired of breaking up and making up... and have come up with a pact to help them walk the line,” a source told Radar Online. “Like spend 21 hours together a week even if it’s just watching TV and allowing each other 14 hours of personal time a week.”
“They pledge to increase the sex because she likes to get a little wild sometimes,” the source added.
The "fake news" also added that Cyrus, 25 and Hemsworth, 28, have been on a relationship rollercoaster recently as they were having conflicts over when to start a family.
“Liam wants to get married and have kids, while Miley just isn’t quite ready yet,” another source told Radar Online. “He’s thinking of giving her an ultimatum, but their friends don’t think that Miley will cave.”
However, the claims about Cyrus and Hemsworth going separate ways are false.
The rumors about their split came earlier this month just as the "Wrecking Ball" singer deleted all posts on her Instagram. The singer's fans were crushed after rumors surfaced that Cyrus and Hemsworth were not together.
But the couple subtly addressed the rumors by posting a video to Hemsworth's Instagram story showing the actor and Cyrus in a car, driving around and playing pranks on each other. In the video, Cyrus is seen grooving to the music played in the background until Hemsworth screams and scares her.
"I'm gonna beat the s---," she jokingly threatens in response to his prank. He just smiles and says, "Number one!" to the camera.
The "Hunger Games" star met Cyrus on the set of the 2009 film "The Last Song." The two have been in an on-again, off -again relationship. They first got engaged in 2012, and tragically broke it off just the following year. After nearly four years of hiatus, the pair recoupled in 2016.
Since the duo got back together, there have been several rumors about their marriage, but Cyrus told the Sun in September last year that she had no plans to marry any time soon, explaining: "I don't envision marriage. I'm 24. I hope I get to live a little bit more, I have too much living to do [before I get married]."
She continued, "Three years ago, if you’d asked me if I’d be here, this happy with this man, I’d have been stunned. I’m just riding this out. In some relationships, you lose yourself by being with someone else. Actually, it made me find myself more. I have no idea what the next three years will bring, but if it’s possible to get even happier, I’ll take it."
