During this time, Aniston and Theroux had a heart to heart conversation regarding their marriage. An unnamed source claimed that Aniston told her ex-husband that she wishes she tried harder to make their relationship work.

“Jen was so scarred from her divorce from Brad [Pitt], but after working with the same therapist for several years, she realizes now she tends to put a wall up as soon as things get tough, rather than working through them,” the source said.

The insider also said that Aniston realized that Theroux was the perfect partner for her, and she regrets ending their marriage.

“Jen has decided that life is too short not to give this another try. She’s excited about seeing where things go,” the source said.
