Truth About Rumors Ellen DeGeneres Struggling After Wife Portia De Rossi Moves Out

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi are rumored to be struggling in their marriage.

According to In Touch Weekly, the talk show host is currently in hell after her wife decided to move out of their marital home in Los Angeles. De Rossi has been living in Montecito for weeks.

A source told the tabloid that DeGeneres decided to stay back in Los Angeles because they needed to have some time off following their issues. LA is also where the host works. And following de Rossi’s alleged move, DeGeneres is reportedly working more than ever.

“Ellen tries to appease her by giving her whatever she wants, like her art company and buying any home Portia falls in love with. Hopefully, some time apart will do them good. They love each other so much, so I don’t think they’re about to give up on their marriage just yet,” the source said.

This isn’t the first time that DeGeneres and de Rossi have been rumored to be having marital problems. In fact, there were previous claims suggesting that the couple already filed for divorce.

But in January, the “Arrested Development” actress told Us Weekly that she and DeGeneres are still together, and they couldn’t be happier.

“The divorce rumors came and then we really knew the perceptions had changed. I’m not kidding. I know it sounds ridiculous, but when that started happening I thought, ‘Oh, now we’re finally accepted.’ We get the same [expletive] as every celebrity couple,” she said.

Years ago, the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” show professed her love for de Rossi during her interview with People. The comedian said that dating de Rossi made her feel for the first time in my life that she was the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

DeGeneres and de Rossi tied the knot on Aug. 16, 2008, at their Beverly Hills estate.
