Prince Andrew has been staying out of the limelight ever since he announced that he will be stepping back from his royal duties. However, threats continue to surround the dad of two.

Globe recently claimed that the Duke of York may be thrown in jail if he ever sets foot in the United States. Prince Andrew was accused of having sex with underage girls. He was also publicly scrutinized for forging a friendship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Pau Page, a former employee at the palace, claimed that Prince Andrew snuck in Ghislaine Maxwell into Buckingham Palace for intimate get-togethers. Epstein’s so-called madam first went to the palace in 2001.

“She first showed up in 2001 when an official phoned down and said, ‘We’ve got a guest coming for Andrew, but the name is not to be entered in the book.’ One of my colleagues saw her come in and out of the palace four times in one day,” he said.

An unnamed source told the tabloid that federal investigators are also asking British authorities to squeeze Queen Elizabeth’s disgraced son. However, he hasn’t been cooperative.

As of late, none of these claims have been confirmed by Prince Andrew or the American officials. As such, it would be best to take them with a grain of salt.

What is known is that Prince Andrew will continue to play an important role at Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding amid his sexual abuse scandal.

An official statement from the palace confirmed that the Duke of York will walk his daughter down the aisle. Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding date is scheduled for May 29, and their ceremony will be held at the Chapel Royal, St. James’s Palace.

Following the royal couple’s wedding ceremony, a reception will be held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace. The Queen previously offered the palace as a venue for her granddaughter’s wedding reception, and Princess Beatrice accepted it.
