America Ferrera, who won an Emmy for her portrayal of the title character on the show Ugly Betty, wed her longtime boyfriend Ryan Piers Williams.

Although the couple had previously announced their engagement, no media was alerted to the ceremony itself, which took place Monday night in an intimate setting amongst close friends and family, Ferrera's rep told PEOPLE. The bride wore a dress by Amsale's Christos label and Fred Leighton earrings.
