‘Twilight’ Star Says He Probably Won’t Attend Robert Pattinson’s Wedding To FKA Twigs
Robert Pattinson’s “Twilight” family was present for his character Edward Cullen's wedding but they may not get to see him get hitched to his real life love, FKA Twigs.
One of the actor’s former co-stars, Kellan Lutz, says despite remaining friends with Pattinson following the franchise’s 2012 conclusion, he doubts he will get to be a part of his big day. Lutz, who played Emmett Cullen in the vampire films, says that a majority of his “Twilight” cast members prefer to live their lives out of the public eye.
“With Rob and Kristen [Stewart] and even Nikki [Reed] like they doing stuff super private,” he told ET Online.
While Lutz, 30, still spends time with Pattinson, he says his affinity for privacy may keep him off his wedding guest list. “I’m sure he’s going to be super selective,” he said. “Do Rob and I talk everyday on the phone? No. Would Rob be at my wedding one day? I don’t know if it be on the forefront of my mind to ask him. I love the guy to death and we always hung out when he’s in town or when I’m in town.”
Lutz added that he would want to be there to support Pattinson on his big day and is considering asking for an invite. “I might text him after this and say, 'Hey, if you’re ever thinking about tying the knot, you better make sure I’m there!'”
Pattinson, 29, has not made any mention of a possible upcoming wedding ceremony to singer FKA Twigs, real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett. The couple was rumored to be facing some troubles this month, one tabloid reporting Twigs, 28, gave the actor an ultimatum to marry her in 2016 or “kiss her goodbye.” An insider close to the pair shot down the report, telling Gossip Cop they’re still “on the same page.”
Pattinson and Twigs sparked engagement rumors in April 2015 after rapper T-Pain revealed the “Two Weeks” singer was engaged to “ol’Patty” in an interview. While he later called his comments an April Fools’ Joke, Us Weekly confirmed the couple was engaged the same month.
